Simulation Games are done in several cycles which consist of:

Collecting knowledge is based on the intention of immediately applying what has been learned. Trainers and participants set the goals and discuss the appriopriate way to reach them.
 
circle split to three thirds, second third is marked red Implementing:
Participants work to reach the goals within the virtual reality of the simulation game. The competitive situation motivates to maximum efforts.
 
circle split to three thirds, third third is marked red Reflecting:
Success factors and potencial for improvement are discussed and analysed. Transfer into organisational reality is prepared. When doing the final reflecting, an agreement about transfer activities is made.
